Open Field Training LLC ("OFT," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Name, email address, and phone number when you submit an evaluation or contact form
• Athletic information such as position, training level, and goals
• Payment information when you purchase a subscription or product (processed securely via Shopify or Stripe — we do not store card details)
• Communications you send to us via email or contact forms

We may also collect non-personal data automatically, such as browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site through standard analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Build and deliver your personalized OFT training path
• Respond to inquiries and provide coaching support
• Process payments and manage your membership
• Send program updates, training content, and relevant communications (you may opt out at any time)
• Improve our website, programs, and services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the OFT platform:

• Shopify — e-commerce and payment processing for the OFT store
• Calendly — appointment booking for live coaching sessions
• Google Meet — live video coaching sessions
• YouTube — training video content (embedded from @openfieldtraining)
• Google Analytics — anonymous website usage data

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how your data is handled within their platforms.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Children's Privacy

OFT welcomes youth athletes with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 without consent, please contact us immediately.

6. Your Rights

You may request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of marketing communications

7. The Open Field Training Mobile App

The OFT mobile app collects more than this website does, because it has to in order to coach you. This section covers the app specifically.

What the app collects

• Account — your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash; we never see them.
• Date of birth — required at sign-up to confirm you are 13 or older, and to collect a parent or guardian email if you are under 18.
• Playing position and training level — optional, used to assign your program.
• Training activity — sessions completed, sets logged, dates, your current and longest streak, and how many times you have practised each of the nine move families.
• Body measurements — weight and height, only when you choose to log a weigh-in.
• Goals you add, and messages you exchange with your coach.
• Subscription status — your plan and whether it is active, trialing, expired or cancelled.

What the app does NOT collect

• No advertising identifiers, and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
• No location data, precise or approximate.
• No access to your contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
• No integration with Apple Health or Google Fit.
• No push notification tokens — streak reminders are scheduled on your own device and nothing leaves it.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Who processes app data

The app relies on a small number of providers who process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes: Supabase (database, accounts and file storage), Mux (drill video hosting and streaming), RevenueCat (subscription status), Apple and Google (payment processing for in-app purchases), and Expo (app delivery and updates). We never receive your full payment card details — Apple or Google process the payment and tell us only whether your subscription is active.

Your coach can see your training data

If you are on a coaching plan, your coach at Open Field Training can see your name, training activity, streak, completed sessions, goals, logged weigh-ins and the messages you exchange with them. That is the point of the service — a coach cannot coach what they cannot see. Other athletes cannot see any of it.

Age requirement

The app is for athletes aged 13 and over. Sign-up asks for a date of birth and refuses accounts below that age. Athletes aged 13 to 17 must provide a parent or guardian email, and that adult must review these terms with them. Parents and guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child’s information by emailing ceo@openfieldtraining.com.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app: Home → Delete my account. This erases your profile, training history, weigh-ins, goals and messages. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Backups may retain copies for up to 30 days before rolling off. You do not need to email us or ask permission.

Security

App data is stored on Supabase infrastructure in the United States and protected by row-level security rules, meaning the database itself enforces that one athlete cannot read another athlete’s records. Traffic is encrypted in transit, and drill videos are served through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of OFT after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
